These Terms govern your use of heartlandems.com and the non-emergency medical transportation services arranged through it. By using the site or booking a transport, you agree to these Terms.

These services are non-emergency. If you or your patient are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
1. Services
Heartland Medical Transport, LLC provides scheduled, non-emergency medical transportation by appropriately staffed and equipped ambulance / stretcher units. Acceptance of any booking is subject to crew availability, patient assessment, and applicable medical and legal standards.
2. Booking and confirmation
Submitting a request through this site or our dispatch line is a request, not a confirmed booking. A transport is confirmed only after our dispatch team contacts you.
3. Patient information and accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, complete patient and trip information, including mobility, weight, oxygen, and any clinical considerations. Inaccurate information may result in delays, cancellation, or additional charges.
4. Payment, insurance, and fees
Charges depend on mileage, time of day, level of care, and any additional equipment or staffing. We bill eligible insurance providers when authorized. Any balance not covered by insurance is the responsibility of the patient or responsible party. Cancellations made with less than 2 hours' notice may incur a fee.
5. No medical advice
Content on this website is for general information only and is not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse this site — including attempting to disrupt service, scrape PHI, upload malicious files, or submit false applications or transport requests.
7. Intellectual property
The Heartland name, logo, copy, and design are owned by Heartland Medical Transport, LLC. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heartland Medical Transport, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website. This does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
